DEIRDRE KURZENBERGER, ASID ALLIED

With a passion for creativity and a keen eye for detail, I made the leap from a fulfilling decade in film development and acquisitions to a field that felt like a natural next chapter: interior design.

After starting a family and returning to the East Coast from Los Angeles, I earned my MA in Interior Design from Fairfield University — gaining the technical foundation needed to design spaces that are as beautiful as they are livable.

Drawing on a career spent bringing stories to life visually, I founded DWK INTERIORS, a design firm dedicated to helping clients create spaces they truly love. Grounded in classic design, I take the time to truly understand each client — their tastes, their lifestyle, their wishlist — and translate all of it into spaces that feel both polished and personal.

Fairfield, Connecticut has been both home and muse. When I'm not designing, you'll find me soaking up the town's beautiful beaches and vibrant community with my husband, three children, and our Australian Labradoodle, Sydney.
